My favorite song. Hmm.

My favorite piece of music is Beethoven's 6th. Second favorite is Copland's Appalachian Springs. I played both in one concert (and had to decide which one I liked more, because I could only play first clarinet in one...which one had better solos? I chose Beethoven, and definitely made the right decision).

My favorite song to sing to Jasmine is "You Are My Sunshine." I sang it to her before she was born, and then sang it to her in the hospital...that time I couldn't make it through the words. I had no idea how much I loved her until I tried to make it through!

But MY song?? I'll get back to you on that.
