Jasmine's word of the week: "sowwy." We say "sorry" when we bump into her (or each other) so somehow she's come to associate it with something quite different from its intended meaning. Haven't figured out what, exactly, that is.
She was very helpful and brought over a receiving blanket when Rebekah spit up a couple hours ago, but then decided she'd be helpful and clean it up for me...I wasn't quite so ecstatic about that much help, and tried to tell her that I should do it, but that she was very sweet to offer to help. :)
Her rash seems to be coming back, though it hasn't gotten much worse since Tuesday so hopefully it will clear up quickly. Her feet are itchy, but I don't think her legs itch. Poor punkin!
Rebekah is getting more alert and aware, which is fun. It's neat to watch her look around and try to figure out her world. Maybe she'll figure out Jasmine before we do :)
A couple more cute morsels:
Jasmine's new favorite thing to watch is Season One of the Muppet Show (which she calls "Kermint.") At the end of every episode, right after Zoot plays the wrong note at the end of the theme song, she says, "that's funny!" :) and she walks around the house saying "banana" (which sounds more like "BAH-nah-nah"), thanks to multiple references to bananas on the show.

aw, so sweet! Don't ya just love the "help" that the big sisters give?! Sometimes I think Maggie's going to half-smother Kate in her efforts to "help!" And just wait until the first time Jasmine picks Rebekah up! yikes I thought I was going to lose it when I saw maggie picking her 1 month old sister up! lol
